Did not he sleep in the depths of the frozen sea, to rise once to the shallows with the power of the years which adorned his dwelling place. It is from the Wandoor Beach in Port Blair in 2000. Walked a long distance in the shallow waters of the low tide; collected this piece, which was totally covered by fungus and placed amidst corals. Cleaned and became alive. It is now believed that the number of curves seen on the wood indicates the length of time in centuries for which the specimen was in the sea.

It was blooming amidst the waves in Wandoor Beach in Port Blair in 2001, which was a joint of roots adding beauty in such a way as if it was the biggest flower of that beach which won’t fall off to curtail the beauty of that beach forever. But it has come all the way to Kumarakam.

Pheasant Crow collected from the beach near the guest house in Havelock Island in 2000. It is in the sleeping position holding its claws tight on the branch. This amazing creation - Stork, showing the ebullient love of the sea, had just landed from its flight. Its wing is not closed showing even its quill feather. Collected from Amkunj Beach in Middle Andaman in 1986. This sea born Cormorant, making a key signature of the art of eternity is quietly standing on a branch. The root is having the natural black colour which adds beauty for the bird. Collected from the R.K.Puram Beach in Little Andaman in 1997.
